Information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, institution, role, and any message you send us through our website or by email.

Information collected automatically, including basic usage data, log data, device and browser information, and cookies, when you visit our website.

Institutional data processed on behalf of a partner institution, which we handle solely as instructed by that institution under a separate written agreement, and which is addressed further in Section 9.

03 / HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to respond to inquiries, operate and improve our website and Service, communicate with you about updates or requests, maintain the security and integrity of our systems, and comply with applicable legal obligations. Where we process institutional data on behalf of a partner institution, we use it only to provide the contracted Service to that institution, and for no other purpose.

If your data was provided to us by a partner institution, we may direct you to that institution to process your request, as it typically controls that data.

09 / STUDENT AND INSTITUTIONAL DATA

For institutions that use the Service, Atri8 acts as a data processor, handling data strictly under the instructions of the institution, which remains the data controller. Requests regarding student or institutional data should generally be directed to the institution. We support institutions in meeting their obligations under applicable data protection and education privacy laws, including, where relevant, the U.S. Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

10 / INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Information may be processed in India and in other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards to protect information transferred across borders.

11 / CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Our public website is not directed at children. Where the Service processes data belonging to students, including minors, on behalf of a partner institution, that processing is governed by our agreement with the institution, which remains responsible for obtaining any necessary parental or guardian consents required by applicable law.
